e-Voting

eVoting for the RAS Members of Council will open on the 4th April 2012

All Fellows who are entitled to vote AND for whom we have a valid email address will be invited to vote by electronic means. An email will be sent to all such Fellows on the 4th April 2012.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it  - IS AWARE OF YOUR CURRENT EMAIL ADDRESS SO THAT YOU ARE INCLUDED.

The email you receive will contain a unique link to the RAS website which when used (click on the link provided in the email, or cut and paste it into your browser address bar) will take you to an electronic form of the ballot paper where you may submit your votes.

When your ballot has been accepted, you will be sent a confirmation by email of the selections you made.

In the case of a Fellow erroneously submitting votes both by electronic and postal means, the electronic vote will take precedence and the paper ballot will be discarded.

The RAS cannot be held responsible for lost "invitations to vote", acknowledgements, or any other emails caused by SPAM filters, personal email settings, etc. Having emails from ras.org.uk whitelisted may be of use to you regarding this. As part of the security measures, the IP address used to contact the RAS website for the submission of your ballot paper will be recorded.
