The 'G' Winton Capital  Prize is awarded for a particularly noteworthy contribution to geophysics,solar physics, solar-terrestrial physics, or planetary sciences  research by a Post Doctoral Fellow in a UK institution . At the time of nomination candidates, in normal circumstances, should have completed their PhD no more than 5 years previously.

(Because of the nature of the award, nominees will not, in general, be well known to the Award Committee, so it is essential that a fully self-contained case be made.)
