The RAS welcomed the 600 visitors as they entered the RA by making comets in the portico.

We then hosted an Astronomy Salon in the Tondo foyer during which there were talks by Dr Marek Kukula and Dr Sheila Kanani, an opportunity to view star charts and maps with Dr Sian Prosser and time to hold meteorites and ask questions.

A great evening was had by all who attended and participated and we thoroughly enjoyed mixing astronomy and art for a special evening of outreach.
