The RAS warmly congratulates 2 of its fellows who were honoured in the New Year's list.
Dr Maggie Aderin is a Senior Project Manager at 'Sira Technology Ltd', working on a satellite detection system funded by the European Space Agency. She has also set up 'Science Innovation Ltd' to promote public understanding of science.
Dr John Mason is a former President of the British Astronomical Association, a well known broadcaster and founding trustee of the South Downs Planetarium and Science Centre, Chichester.
Both received the award of MBE. Congratulations! |
