25 MAY: ROYAL OBSERVATORY GREENWICH TO OPEN PETER HARRISON PLANETARIUM

The new 120-seat Peter Harrison planetarium and galleries that make up the final phase of the £15 million 'Time and Space' redevelopment will open at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. The bronze-clad planetarium uses state of the art laser technology to represent the night sky and is accompanied by the new Weller Galleries of Modern Astronomy and Lloyd's Register Education Centre, both sited in the adjacent 1890s South Building.
