Geophysical Journal International (GJI) will be holding an Author Workshop entitled 'Getting your paper published' at the 2012 European Geosciences Union General Assembly, which will be held at the ACV conference centre in Vienna, Austria.

The workshop, which will be held on Friday 27th April 2012 from 9:30 – 11:30am, will provide an overview of the peer review process and training in the services provided for authors, both before and after their papers are accepted. Authors will also receive tips on how to prepare articles and how they can maximise their chances of a successful submission. The Editor-in-Chief of GJI, Professor Jeannot Trampert, will be in attendance and available to answer questions.

We anticipate that the workshop will be most useful for postgraduate students and early-career researchers, and to authors who have not previously published in GJI. Demand for places is expected to be high, so authors must obtain a ticket to attend.

For more details or to book a ticket, please visit the workshop website.
