White - small for webThe RAS is committed to enhancing diversity throughout the fields of astronomy and geophysics, through the work of its Committee on Diversity in Astronomy and Geophysics (CDAG).

As part of this effort we want to better understand the diverse composition of our communities, in particular the membership of the RAS itself. We are therefore conducting a survey of all RAS Fellows to collect diversity data of interest to CDAG. The results will be used to inform the future activies of the committee and the RAS as a whole.

In order to compile an accurate picture of the current membership, we would be grateful if as many Fellows as possible could fill out the short questionnaire.

The survey is completely anonymous and confidential, and will not be linked to your other personal data. The questions follow the guidelines of the Equality Challenge Unit, and most are optional. It should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

All Fellows have been sent a link to the questionnaire via their registered email address. We have also distributed paper copies to members for whom we don't have an email address. If you have not received these, please contact the membership secretary. Thank you for your cooperation!
