RAS JOURNALS - 2015 Statistical summary and Impact Factors 2011 to 2015

 

MNRAS: The number of papers submitted to MNRAS in 2015 increased by 10%. During 2015 the median length of time from submission to first decision was 32 days for Main Journal papers and 23 days for Letters. The median period from receipt of papers at OUP to online publication was 29 days for Letters and 32 days for Main Journal papers. The median period from receipt at OUP to publication on paper was 48 days. The Impact Factor changed from 5.107 to 4.952.

GJI: The number of papers submitted to GJI in 2015 increased by 6%. During 2015 the median length of time from submission to first decision was 63 days for Research papers and 36 days for Express Letters. The median period for online publication was 27 days; the median period for print publication was 57 days.  The Impact Factor changed from 2.560 to 2.484.
