Obscured Extragalactic Light

The first ever joint meeting of the French Society for Astronomy and Astrophysics and the RAS will be held in Paris 2008 July 3. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the French Society for Astronomy and Astrophysics (SF2A), the SF2A and the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS) will hold their first joint workshop on  Obscured Extragalactic Light during the “French Week of Astrophysics” at the Université Paris Diderot on the Left Bank in Paris.
The Scientific Organising Committee comprises: Denis Burgarella (SF2A), Michael Rowan-Robinson (RAS), Françoise Combes (SF2A), Dave Clements (RAS), David Elbaz (SF2A), Seb Oliver (RAS).
Programme and registration details will be announced shortly.  The language of the joint meeting will be English.
The meeting is part of the Semaine de l'Astrophysique Française: Journées de la SF2A 2008 June 30 – July 4, Paris.  The programme of the rest of the meeting and details about the venue etc are available at the SF2A website.
